J.C. BRINGS BLACK MAGIC TO JENNERSTOWN J.C. would start the race from the 24th spot in the field. After only a couple of laps, the brakes on the car started going away.J.C felt that, "the car was tight for the first part of the race but Dwayne got it handling real well by mid-race." The ATI Performance Racing team would not give up and improved the car
on each pit stop. "The car had some braking issues today," commented
J.C., "but the guys worked hard all day and we gained alot of places
out there on the track." Also announced at Jennerstown was the agreement reached by Viacom, TNN and the American Speed Association to drop the lawsuit file by the sanctioning body regarding the decision to tape delay two events on the 2001 ASA ACDelco Series schedule. The agreement specifies that the Miller Lite 300 at the Minnesota State Fair Park on Labor Day, September 3, will air on a tape-delayed basis, at 12:30 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday, September 4, and will re-air on Saturday, September 8, at 4 p.m. Eastern. The season ending Tirerack.com 200 on September 29 at Indianapolis Raceway Park will air live, at 8 p.m. Eastern.
