With nothing to lose in the ASA season finale Tirerack.com, ATI fielded two cars; one for JC and a second car prepared for crew chief Dwayne "Porkchop" Hudson. However a cooling track caught out both drivers as the qualifying set-ups were for warm weather!

Porkchop failed to make the race, but JC went on to grab 25th place at Indianapolis Raceway Park and take 18th overall in the points!
