J.C. Takes a Pit Stop
February 17, 2004

2003 brought lots of excitement and fun, but I’m sure you noticed that toward the end of the season, the ATI 09 was no longer in the starting line up at every race. After campaigning hard, the allure of spending more time with the family business and less time on the track became a reality. The Beattie family, and 50 employees are who makes ATI Performance Products, Inc., a widely respected company in the world of Motorsports, run smoothly. With his newfound time and focus, J.C. hopes to better understand the inner workings of ATI and the rest of the racing industry.

Currently, it is uncertain whether a return to the circuit is being considered. J.C. wants to delve into his new position, but admits the racing bug is hard to escape. While he is dedicated to taking full advantage of his current opportunity, he is toying with the idea of racing at a couple of the larger events this season.

Whichever direction his racing career heads, J.C. wants to thank the ATI Performance Racing team, his family, the fans, and the sponsors. Without their support, his many successes behind the wheel would not have been possible.

Although J.C. might not be tearing up the pavement this year, ATI Performance Products, Inc. will be signing on as an ASA series sponsor for 2004. If you look closely, you will find an ATI decal on every ASA car. Not as easy to spot is the ATI Super Damper under every hood. The ATI 09 might not find its way to the winner’s circle this year, but ATI will always be guaranteed a spot.
